Mr And Mrs Anthony F. Sousa

Stacy A. Haggerty and Anthony F. Sousa were married on June 9 in St Philip Church in Norwalk with Father Bert Pinciaro officiating.

The bride is the daughter of William and Linda Haggerty of Newtown.

The groom is the son of Joseph and Evangelina Sousa of East Hartford.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white, hand-beaded, strapless, floor-length gown and carried a bouquet of white roses.

Her maids of honor were Kimberly Haggerty of Hamden and Kristin Haggerty of Danbury.

Bridesmaids were Lora Meeker of Boston, Mass., and Kimberly Rosa of Brookfield.

The attendants wore burgundy floor-length dresses and carried bouquets of pink roses, lilies, and stargazers.

The best men were Jamie Keating of Weston and Angelo Biasi of Norwalk.

Ushers were Jonathan Uman of Westport, Steven Leslie of Brookfield, and Paul Perille of Huntington, N.Y.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School and earned a bachelor’s in education/English and master’s in curriculum from Western Connecticut State University. She is an internal wholesaler with PIMCO Funds in Stamford.

The groom graduated from Penney High School in East Hartford, Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s in computer science, and the University of Bridgeport with a master’s in management engineering. He is vice president of network services for XL Capital in Stamford.

The reception was held at Norwalk Inn.

Following a two-week wedding trip to Paris, London, and Italy, they are living in Westport.
