AIDS Benefit Set For July 28

DANBURY — The Interfaith AIDS Ministry of Greater Danbury and the Northwestern Connecticut AIDS Project will host “Tea for Two Hundred 2001” on July 28, from 4 to 7 pm in the gardens of Gael Hammer’s home in Washington, Conn.

The event, now in its fourth year, is a major fundraiser for the two agencies and benefits people affected by AIDS in the local communities.

The folk band Legacy will provide entertainment. Card reader David Eperson will tell fortunes, and a clown, Vanilla Swirl, will entertain the children. A silent auction will be held featuring garden-related items, and Colorado Brewing is preparing a special edition beer for the occasion.

Sponsors for this year’s event include Carol R. Elder, CPA, “Macy’s East,” HART, Berkshire Septic, and Lyn Meyers, CPA.

Tickets are $30 per person. To order, call Angie at 203-748-4077. The rain date is July 29.
