Vanya Donaher

Donaher is a sixth-grader who competes in the Newtown Hawks Intermediate/ Middle school track program. He high jumps, and runs the 800 meter and 4x400 relay events.

Favorite event: “The 800 because it’s a sprint that turns into a long distance run.”

Toughest part of the 800: The second lap.

When he’s not running: Plays soccer.

Team he roots for: Boston Red Sox.

Favorite subject: Social Studies.

Food of choice: Tacos.
