New England's Best Book Sale
New Englandâs
Best Book Sale
To the Editor:
What we learned over the past four days is people still want books. The response to the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library 36th Annual Book Sale was phenomenal.
The sale is successful because of the people and businesses that support the Friends. Our heartfelt thanks goes to these folks: Jeff Smith, A Sign Depot; Tony Posca, Andreaâs Pastry Shop; Boy Scout Troop 70; Booth Library Board of Trustees, Library Director Janet Woycik and library staff; Caraluzziâs Markets; Carminuccioâs Pizza; Crystal Rock; Jeff Dymerksi, Dunkinâ Donuts; Pudelz T-shirts; Costco; Eunice, Bagel Delight; McKinney Communications; and Trader Joeâs.
And more thanks to: Ivan, Armstrong Moving and Storage; James Gaston, Borough of Newtown; Chartwell; Nancy Crevier, Newtown Bee; Fred Hurley, Newtown Highway Department; Marc Kenney, Newtown High School Girls Soccer Team; Martin Margulies, Newtown High School Boysâ Tennis Team; Hoa Nguyen, Newtown Patch; Newtown Police Department; Newtown Savings Bank employees; Savings Bank of Danbury, and the Town of Newtown.
We so appreciate the care and support of the Newtown School District, the Reed Intermediate School principal and staff, and Rich and Ron â you are the best!!
Last but not least, our wonderful volunteers â it is your hard work that makes the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library book sale New Englandâs best!!
Sincerely,
