Ladies Two Ball: Ann Feltch played by herself and finished her round, waiting for her blind draw partner. Little did she know that she and Debra Gersten would be paired together to win the Ladies Two Ball Championship with a 66. Jayne Dubraski and Susan Wallace shot a 67 for a second-place finish.
ABCD: The July ABCD tournament drew 36 golfers. Rick Eaton almost had a hole in one on the 18th hole, hitting the ball to within a foot of the hole to win closest to the pin honors. First place net at a record 26 under par was earned by Frank Gavel, Peter Wallace, Dean Harvey, and Ben Spragg. This is Gavelâs second straight week in the winners circle, after capturing the Parent/Child competition with his son, Thomas, last week. Mike Spicci, John OâConnor, Dennis Brestovansky, and Mike Navin took second in a scorecard playoff.
