Datin Helps Fairfield County Football Team To Victory

Newtown High School graduate and former football player Matt Datin helped Fairfield County defeat New Haven County in the annual all star game, July 9 in West Haven.

Datin played left offensive tackle to protect the quarterback’s blind side, and the Fairfield County QB was untouched throughout the game. Datin also played several series on defense and had a few assisted tackles.

He is looking forward to his career as at Southern Connecticut State University, beginning this fall.
