Caring For Animals

To the Editor:

The Animal Center would like to thank  Dr J. Chris Mixon at Newtown Veterinary Center for generously donating his time and services on Wednesday afternoons to do examinations, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgeries on the kittens, cats, dogs and puppies in our program.

We greatly appreciate Dr Mixon’s support and willingness to go out of his way to help the animals in our care. The Animal Center is fortunate to work with several veterinary partners like Newtown Veterinary Center that make a huge difference in our ability to help homeless and special-needs animals.  We’d also like to thank Dr. Mixon’s veterinary technician, Ciara, who donates her time on Wednesdays to assist.
