Hall-Brooke Opens New Facility
WESTPORT â A new $13.1-million Hall-Brooke Behavioral Health Services facility opened last month on the Hall-Brooke campus, 47 Long Lots Road. Hall-Brooke is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Vincentâs Health Services in Bridgeport and is an affiliate of New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeonsâ Department of Psychiatry.
The new building âredefines the shape of behavioral health services. It is a light-filled building that respects its environment and offers a vision of health and wholeness,â said Stephen P. Fahey, president/CEO of Hall-Brooke Behavioral Health Services. Mr Fahey is a Newtown resident.
Designed exclusively for the care of psychiatric and substance abuse patients, the 58,000-square foot facility includes 60 inpatient beds and day and evening ambulatory services. The 25-acre campus also has been enhanced by landscaping and therapeutic gardens.
Hall-Brooke provides treatment for substance abuse, depression, dual-diagnosis, and a wide range of emotional and behavioral illnesses in adults, adolescents, and children. It is the only licensed in-patient facility with beds for children in Fairfield County.
