Local Talent To Mount Three Musicals For Sabrina's Encore Productions

Sabrina’s Encore Productions (SEP), LLC, has announced its Summer Series musical productions lineup, with performances starting July 17.

The three scheduled musical productions will star youth from Newtown, Brookfield, Monroe, Easton, Trumbull, Bethel, Danbury, and Ridgefield. Each production will be presented live on the stage at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street.

The elementary age troupe will perform Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr, Friday, July 17, at 5 pm, and Saturday, July 18, at 3 pm.

On those same dates, the middle school troupe will perform the lively Thoroughly Modern Millie, complete with every member of the cast tapping in numbers, on July 17 at 8 pm and July 18 at 7:30 pm. 

Finally, on July 23-26 the senior troupe will mount a production of Les Miserables, accompanied by a live, 17-piece professional orchestra. Les Mis show times are nightly from Thursday, July 23, to Saturday, July 25, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, July 26, at 5 pm.

Tickets for Beauty and the Beast Jr are $18 for adult orchestra seating, $16 for adult balcony seating, $12 for students and seniors, and $10 for children 5 or younger.

Prices for Thoroughly Modern Millie are $22 for adult orchestra seating, $18 for adult balcony seating, $18 for students or senior orchestra seating, and $15 for student or senior balcony seating.

Les Miserables tickets are $25 for adult orchestra seating, $22 for adult balcony seating, $20 for student and senior orchestra seating, and $15 for student and senior balcony seating.

Tickets will also be available at the box office on show days while available.
