Teleclass: Providing Capital To Small Businesses

STAMFORD — The WBDC (Women’s Business Development Council) is seeking business owners who may be eligible for a grant or loan from the state’s Department of Economic and Community Development to participate in a 90-minute teleclass.

The teleclass, which can be monitored from home, is set for Thursday, August 9, from noon to 1:30 pm. 

Operators or owners of a small business that:

*Employ not more than 50 employees

*Is Connecticut-based with operations in Connecticut

*Has been registered to conduct business in this state for at least 12 months

*In good standing on all state and local taxes

*Is seeking to expand with new hires

May be eligible for the financial assistance.

The Women’s Business Development Council is sponsoring this interactive workshop that will provide small business owners with insight into the new programs, how to qualify, and will assist applicants through the process.
