Hilda J. Russell

Hilda J. Russell died July 12 at Harborside in Danbury at the age of 80. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Russell and had lived on Park Avenue in Danbury until her retirement to Nunnawauk Meadows in Newtown.

She was born in North Dartmouth, Mass., August 6, 1919, daughter of the late Joseph and Adeline Marshall Jason. She came to the Danbury area about 60 years ago. Mrs Russell was a retired inspector for the Bard Parker Corporation in Danbury and an assembler for Curtis-Wright Company. She was a member of St Peter Church and the Senior Aid Program.

She is survived by her son, Robert, of New York City, and her longtime caregiver, Judy MacKenzie.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on July 13 at St Peter Church, Main Street, Danbury. Burial was in St Peter Cemetery.
