College Safety Workshop

The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury is offering a free workshop on Tuesday, August 14, called “College Safety,” a program for young women attending college this fall, for high school juniors and seniors, and parents.

Information will be presented on basic safety tips, basic self-defense, risk reduction, date rape drugs, The Campus Report Care for Connecticut Colleges, and what to ask college administrators. The workshop, presented by Officer John Krupinsky of the Danbury Police Department and Karen Romaneli, Women’s Center Community Educator, begins at 7:30 pm in the Community Room of the Women’s Center on 2 West Street in Danbury.
