To the Editor:Bee titled "Danbury Ambulance 'Abandons' Resident, As Contract Considered." I know Fran firsthand, and this despicable transportation action should not be tolerated by any resident of our town now or in the future.

There is no excuse, and I am glad it was published. No disabled person deserves to be treated in such a manner. I also thank the Office of Emergency Medical Services for doing a thorough investigation of this matter.
