Scrapbooking Program For Teens

BETHEL — Area teenagers who enjoy scrapbooking or who would like to expand their skills are invited to join Bethel Library Teen Services Librarian Amy Schumann at the library’s temporary location on Thursday, July 17, from 6:30 to 8 pm.

Participants will learn how to create a safe and beautiful environment for their photographs and memorabilia. All students in grades 6-12 are welcome.

This will be a hands-on activity, so bring at least eight to ten photographs (no Polaroids). Photographs will be trimmed and glued, so make sure copies or negatives are available at home. Materials will be provided, but anyone who has supplies already are welcome to bring them along.

All programs sponsored by the library are free, open to the public, and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. The library’s interim location is 137 Greenwood Avenue, in the same building as Hauser Chocolates. For more information and to register, contact Ms Schumann at 794-8756, extension 0.
