Sarah Gottmeier to Gregg William Myers

Richard and Holly Gottmeier of Sandy Hook announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Gottmeier, to Gregg William Myers, son of Fred and Suzanne Myers of Azusa, Calif.

Ms Gottmeier, a resident of Azusa, Calif., attended Newtown High School with the Class of 1994.

After graduating from high school, she served in the US Army for four years. She was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division and her military decorations were: the Air Assault Badge, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal.

Ms Gottmeier attends California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, where she is currently studying history. She is employed as a property management student with the William Lyon Property Management Group.

Mr Myers, also of Azusa, Calif., graduated from Mountain View High School in 1992. He is a self-employed plumber with Myers Plumbing.

An October 2003 wedding is planned.
