Grizzly Woodsmith At New England Crafts Festival

MILFORD — The Grizzly Woodsmith – a/k/a Wayne Smith of Newtown – will be among 150 fine artists and crafters participating in Milford Fine Arts Council’s 17th Annual New England Arts & Crafts Festival this weekend.

The show and sale will be Saturday and Sunday, July 12-13, from 10 am to 5 pm each day. Admission and parking are free. The festival will be presented on the Milford Green, which can be reached from I-95 North Exit 37 or I-95 South Exit 39-A.

Mr Smith’s specialty is carving, which is presents as animals, Native American busts, mythical figures and Santa figures. The show will also feature a children’s booth, music, food, and artists’ demonstrations.
