Jeffrey Thomas Mead

Jeffrey Thomas Mead, 41, of Sandy Hook, died on July 9 in Danbury.

Mr Mead was born in Norwalk on September 6, 1958, a son of the late Samuel L. and Mary Alice (Broadhurst) Mead. He grew up in Ridgefield and previously had lived in Norwalk for ten years before making Sandy Hook his home for the past 11/2  years. He was employed at the Peoples Bank of Newtown.

Surviving is his twin brother, Dennis M. Mead, of Sandy Hook. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Samuel L. Mead, Jr.

Services were held on July 12 in the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Georgetown. The Rev Mary Hoynes, pastor of the Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewisboro, N.Y., officiated. The interment was private.
