TOM ADAMS 19, WALSH LOGGING 16: Stacey Laaksonen was 3-for-4 with a triple and a home run to lead Tom Adams to the first win of the season. Katie Whalley was 2-for-4 with a line drive up the middle and Sue Gouveia and Wendy Audet were strong in the field. For Walsh, Sue Roman and Lisa Rioni led the offense as Melanie Scott made a great play at the plate and Dawn Nacewicz snagged a shot to right field.
TOM ADAMS 5, JP MAGUIRE 2: Betsy Matthewsâ bat was on fire for Tom Adams and Patti Noone was a vacuum at shortstop. The battery pair of pitched Heather McCusker and catchers Ann Marie Deweese and Pam Davis helped put the game away. For Maguire, the outfield defense was outstanding.

HURD CONSTRUCTION 17, YAKS 12: Casey Trocolla had five hits, including a triple, to lead Hurd Construction to the win. Bill Hurd pitched well, but also chipped in with four hits. Bill Girard collected three hits himself.
HIP-HIP-HURAY 22, HURD CONSTRUCTION 2: Dan Thebodo was 4-for-4, Tim Powell was 4-for-5 and Mike Marshall and Greg Beardsley had three hits apiece to propel Huray to the victory. The win raised the teamâs record to 6-3.
