Self-Portraits Workshop For Kids At Aldrich

RIDGEFIELD — Children ages 4 to 6 are invited to join Aldrich Museum educator Melanie Zalman on Friday, July 21, from 10 am to noon, to create unique portraits that reflect each participant’s unique identity.

Children will discuss the activities they enjoy, their physical features and personal strengths. They will then explore ways to express these observations using color, shape, and scale.

As each child creates a one-of-a-kind portrait, they will begin to see that makes them special within the museum’s creative and nurturing setting. Parents of the young artists are invited to attend.
