Amber Butler, left, and Jessica Biscoe were among four Newtown Pop Warner cheerleaders recently honored at the 4th annual New England Regional Pop Warner Little Scholars All-American Banquet held in Burlington, Massachusetts. Butler and Biscoe were honored along with Ashley Ball and Karen Schwartz (not pictured). To qualify, Pop Warner cheerleaders and football players must have a grade average of 95 or above and, in addition to their grades, are judged on their extracurricular activities, academic awards, honors and community service. Of the more than 350,000 Pop Warner football players and cheerleaders from across the country, only 2,500 were honored.
