ACC To Perform At Hurlburt Park

ROXBURY — Armstrong Chamber Concerts (ACC) will be the guest performer of Roxbury Recreation Commission for a pair of summer chamber concerts at Hurlburt Park’s pavilion. ACC will perform on Saturdays, July 22 and August 12, beginning at 6 pm both nights. The park is on Apple Lane.

July’s program will feature violinist Helen Armstrong, founder and artistic director of ACC, performing with guest artists Borislav Strulev (cello) and Gerard Reuter (oboe). They will perform works by Haydn, Handel, Britten, Nero, Telemann, Gliere and Gershwin. Both concerts are open to the public free of charge.

The August concert will feature works by Corelli, Pasculli, Beethoven, Martinu and Strauss.

Concerts will take place rain or shine. Bring chairs or a blanket for seating; picnic baskets will also be welcomed.
