The theme of this year’s fourth of July Husband and Wife Firecracker Tournament were the Duffy Family continuing their streak of wins in couples golf, and the Weisgerber family keeping up solid play. Jack and Janet Duffy’s great low gross score was enough for them to hold off the other competitors to win low gross honors. Art Weisgerber and MJ Dickson took a two shot victory into the winners circle to take home low net honors. Len and Joan Calbo finished second, in front of Mike and Susan Portnoy. John and Kathy Gschwind won a closest to the pin prize.

Men’s Thursday Night Quota League Winners

First: Art Weisgerber

Second: Frank Gavel

Third: Ron Molles

Fourth: Marty Gersten and Lou Rosamilia

Art Weisgerber posted an outstanding score of +7 this week in the Thursday Night Quota League. His 2 over par score of 37 was enough to cruise to victory over runner-up Frank Gavel.

Ron Molles posted a solid number of +2 for third, and Marty Gersten and Lou Rosamilia tying for fourth.

These men are all trying to catch Mike Johnson who holds a commanding lead in the season-long point standings.
