Cardiac Medications Talk July 12

SOUTHBURY — When a person has heart disease, there are many medications that can be part of the treatment plan. However, it is important to know the name and purpose of each medication, as well as side effects, in order to stay well.

This topic will be discussed at a free program on Monday, July 12, at 11 am in the library at the Jewish Federation, 444 Main Street North. The featured speaker is Sandra Micalizzi, APRN, CDE, the Heart Center of Greater Waterbury’s clinical nurse specialist.
