Mildred Drapp

Mildred (Kubik) Drapp, 74, of Milford, died on July 7 in Saint Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

She is survived by a son, Andrew Drapp and his wife, Linda, of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport, she was a resident of Milford for 13 years. Mrs Drapp was the retired receptionist for Dr Jabob Slepian and was a member of Sts Cyril and Methodius Church Seniors.

She was the widow of Joseph Drapp, and is survived by five other sons, Joseph Drapp and his wife, Carol, of Norwalk; Lawrence Drapp and his wife, Rosemary, of Milford; a daughter, Marianne Joye and her husband, Richard, of Milford; two brothers, Andrew Kubik of Milford and Albert Kubik of Stratford; two sisters, Margaret Kuchinski of Bridgeport and Elizabeth Voccola of Stratford; ten grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Paul, Matthew, Daniel and Karen Drapp, Jennifer Ruot and her husband, Gary, Michael Joye, Lawrence Drapp, Jr, and Marc Drapp; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on July 10 in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, and in Sts Cyril and Methodius Church with the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St John Cemetery, Stratford.
