Second Woman Arrested In Burglary/Larceny Incident
Police said that on July 5, they arrested Richelle Bruschi, 39, of Danbury on a warrant at Danbury Superior Court, charging her with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.
The charges against Bruschi stem from a burglary that occurred at a residence on January 24 on Old Bethel Road, police said.
Bruschi was arraigned in court on the charges on July 5. She is being held on $15,150 bail at York Correctional Institution in Niantic on charges stemming from incidents in Newtown, Bethel, and Danbury. She has pleaded not guilty to all nine charges pending against her.
Brushi is next scheduled to appear in court on July 26.
Police said Bruschi is the second person they have charged in connection with the January 24 burglary.
On June 17, police charged Tiffany Pirc, 29, with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny in connection with that incident.
Police have said they received a January 25 complaint from an Old Bethel Road man that his house had been the target of a burglary/larceny on January 24, when Pirc allegedly entered it. When confronted by that resident, Pirc had allegedly stated that she was a pet sitter who had mistakenly entered the wrong address for a pet sitting job.
Pirc is being held on $100,000 bail at York in connection with pending charges against her filed by Newtown and Danbury police.
