Pierce Campbell Stars At Love & Knishes July 13

SOUTHBURY — On Wednesday, July 13, the Love & Knishes Lunch features the music of singer/guitarist Pierce Campbell. As an accomplished vocalist and guitarist, Mr Campbell will be performing a variety of music from his vast repertoire of jazz classics, American folk sing-alongs, Irish ballads, and popular rock and roll hits.

He never knows what he is going to sing until he starts the song, giving him the ability to play for the audience while showcasing his versatility with a wide range of musical styles. Mr Campbell is a former Connecticut State Troubadour, a member of the Kerry Boys and the Funky Butt jazz Band, and has five CDs to his credit.

Lunch, which is prepared by the award-winning Jordan Caterers of Cheshire, is served at noon and followed by entertainment at 1 pm in the Jewish Federation’s social hall at 444 Main St. North.
