Toddy Hill Road

Police report a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Toddy Hill Road and Still Hill Road about 6:53 pm on July 5.

Police said that motorist Helen DeRosa, 87, of Trumbull, who was driving a 1998 Oldsmobile 98 sedan, was attempting to make a right turn from Still Hill Road onto northbound Toddy Hill Road, as motorist Joel Minor Miranda Guerra, 23, of Brewster, N.Y., was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi truck northward on Toddy Hill Road.

The two vehicles collided. DeRosa was transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment of injuries, police said. Sandy Hook firefighters responded to the incident. The accident is under investigation.
