Celebrate Summer Art Show & Sale

With SCAN, Reception This Weekend

The Town of Newtown, the Office of First Selectman Pat Llodra, and The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) are jointly sponsoring an art show at Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street on the Fairfield Hills Campus. The show opened July 5 and can be seen weekdays until July 29.

On view are original works by the members of SCAN, including seasonal images in oils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, printmaking, and graphics. 

The public is cordially invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday, July 9, from 2 to 4 pm, at the municipal center.

Regular exhibition viewing hours will continue Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
