Hoping For Something Special?
Singer May Grant That Wish
A member of the production staff of new NBC-TV reality show, Three Wishes, is looking for community members who have wishes both big and small to fill.
Casting Associate Megan Ryan says the new show is all about fulfilling dreams and wishes big and small and making a difference in small communities across the USA. She promises that reality television is taking a turn for the better these days in the production of Three Wishes, scheduled to begin airing this fall.
The premise of the show is that three heartwarming, inspirational stories â be they from an entire community in need or individuals â will bring the showâs producers to a small community.
When the show arrives in town to grant those larger wishes, they then set up the Wishes Tent in the middle of a âcute main streetâ for a week and invite the community members to visit the tent to ask Amy Grant, the showâs host, for wishes. People can wish for everything from a stop sign on the corner, to a pair of shoes, reunions, even movie tickets. Then producers grant as many of theses smaller wishes as possible.
The results will be broadcast during one-hour episodes hosted by the Grammy Award-winning recording artist.
Ms Ryan is seeking suggestions of stories.
âI am looking to be flooded by wishes,â she said. âThe more wish submissions we get from people in the are, the better chance of us visiting.â
