‘Going The Distance’ Seminar

WESTPORT — Westport-Kmar Educational Services, Inc is offering a series of quarterly educational events for 2005-2006.

The first of the events, “Going the Distance — If  you can dream it, you can do it!” will take place on July 19 at 7 pm at the Inn at Westport. This event will feature the stories of three local residents and how they faced life-changing situations and survived to make dramatic changes in their lives that put them on the path to their life’s mission to help and guide others.

The event’s primary sponsor is Kmar Educational Services, which mission is to increase economic independence for individuals,  providing opportunities for children, adults, and the less fortunate. Through joint partnerships and the help of other caring professionals it makes a difference in other people’s lives.

Kmar provides programs in schools and quarterly events to provide: mental tools for individuals in personal development and training, guide individuals in need of a second career, provide tools to build awareness of personal appearance, create opportunities and experiences for students regarding the business community, and cultivate personal interest and creativity.
