Frances           Ueckerman

Frances Ueckerman, 73, wife of Henry Ueckerman of Heritage Village, Southbury, died July 4 in Danbury Hospital.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Nicolosi of Newtown; one sister, Dolores Meehan of Newtown; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Rachel, and Danielle Nicolosi and Samantha Ueckerman, all of Newtown. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas R. Ueckerman.

She was born in Queens, N.Y., January 4, 1929, daughter of the late Frank and Louise (Steigner) Macari.

A resident of Southbury for seven years, she had formerly lived in Ridgewood, Queens, N.Y. While a resident of Ridgewood, she was a member of the school board and an active volunteer for many years.

Funeral services were held July 6 from the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, and at St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery.
