Quick Center To Present Missoula Children’s Performances

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts will present six performances of Children’s Summer Theatre Workshops with Missoula Children’s Theatre, which will be held at the culmination of six week-long sessions for young people in grades 1 through 12.

The schedule of performances is as follows:

*The Pied Piper on Friday, July 14;

*The Little Mermaid on Friday, July 21, and, with a different cast, on Friday, August 11;

*Red Riding Hood on Friday, July 28;

*Robin Hood on Friday, August 4; and

*Beauty Lou & The Country Beast on Friday, August 18.

Now in its 17th season, Children’s Summer Theatre Workshops offers students a chance to work with directors from Missoula Children’s Theatre, one of the country’s preeminent professional children’s theatre company. Students will also take classes led by professionals in movement, improvisation, arts and crafts and more before the Friday production.

All performances will take place at 7:30 pm, at the Quick Center, on North Benson Road.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children and seniors, with discounts for groups and subscriptions available. No children under the age of two will be admitted, this will ensure the children on stage can give their full attention to their performances.
