Devoted Mother And Grandmother
Denise C. Davenport of Suffern, N.Y., died July 5 after a short but difficult battle with lung cancer. Mrs Davenport was born in Nyack, N.Y., on September 25, 1943, to George and Rose Campbell.
She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Suzanne, and their children Bobby and Tyler, of Sandy Hook; her daughter, Patricia and her husband, Chris, and children DâMe and Bo, of Warwick, N.Y.; her daughter, Denise and her husband, Chris, and children Jake, Carly, and CJ, of Owings, Md. She is also survived by her sister, Rosanne Price, of North Augusta, S.C., her brothers, Bruce Campbell, of North Augusta, S.C., and Geordie Campbell, of Pompano Beach, Fla. Her sister, Patricia Hoppe, of North Augusta, S.C, preceded her in death.
Mrs Davenport was raised, with her two sisters and two brothers, in Piermont, N.Y. She had been a resident of Suffern for the past 34 years. She was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother.
Visiting hours will be on Sunday, July 9, and Monday, July 10, at Wannamaker-Carlough Funeral Home, Route 59, in Suffern, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, July 11, at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern.
