Don't Know What To Say
Donât Know What To Say
To the Editor:
Itâs all been said, and by now we should have reached a zero increase budget, passed it, and been moving on. But we havenât. Your town government is like a broken record, putting up virtually the same budget over and over (and over) again and hoping or praying somehow they would wear us down while we were not looking and it would pass. Just 19 votes separated victory from defeat in the last referendum, but we are still here, still standing!
No voters, we can hold the line. We must insist on a zero increase budget and not yield. Town government will never willingly give up revenue; it needs to be forcibly taken from them. That is what this is about. Thursday, July 12, get to the polls. Vote No, no matter what it takes. Together we can beat this.
