Girl Scout Buy-A-Brick

Deadline Extended

By popular request, the Girl Scout Council of Southwestern Connecticut has extended the deadline for people to sign up for engraved bricks to commemorate an important Girl Scout experience, person, or memory while helping to finance needed additions to building projects at three of the council’s camps enjoyed by area Girl Scouts: Camp Aspetuck in Weston, Camp Rocky Craig in Stamford, and Camp Candlewood in New Fairfield.

The public is invited to participate and cement a Girl Scout connection in the path to the new Troop Program/Sick Bay Building at Camp Candlewood. 

Each brick will be laser engraved with the text of choice and installed for permanent display in the pathway.  A 4-by-8-inch brick costs $100.  An 8-by-8-inch brick costs $250.

The deadline for brick orders and payment has been extended to Monday, July 16. Participants should call the council at 203-762-5557 or access the order form at gscswct.org.
