Back From Granby

More than a dozen Newtown High School wrestlers headed down to the Granby School of Wrestling camp in Virginia on Sunday, June 24, to learn technique with nationally-known college and high school All-Americans. The squad – 14 in a 15-passenger van – left for the school on Sunday at 4 am and once there wrestled for about six hours a day. It was the fourth Newtown team in the last nine years to attend; head coach Al Potter, himself, attended 35 years ago.
