Family: Husband and two children. My children are 11 and 10; their names are Jackson and Brayden.

How long have you worked in Newtown? I have worked in Newtown for almost two years now.

What do you like to do in your free time? Relaxing at the beach. My favorite beach to relax at is Hammonasset Beach State Park, where I go camping with my family every summer.

What is your favorite movie? One of my favorite movies is The Sandlot.

What is your favorite travel destination? Disney World. Disney is one of my favorite vacation spots, just because it is one of the most magical places to be.

What is the best part about Newtown? The caring community.

Who or what has been the greatest influence in your life? My mother. My mother is one of the most hard working and loving people I know. She has taught me that if you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? My grandmother — she is my inspiration to cook. She has taught me how to bake some amazing cookies.

Who is your favorite musical artist? Dave Matthews.

Do you have a favorite TV show? Chopped. It is my favorite TV show because, as a chef myself, it is always interesting to see what they cook with the ingredients in the mystery baskets.

What is your favorite food? Tacos. My favorite taco would have to be a fish taco.

What is the greatest piece of advice you have ever been given? Never give up.

What is something you cannot live without? Chapstick.

What is your proudest accomplishment? Being the mother of two wonderful boys.
