National Garden Clubs Inc awarded a $4,000 scholarship to Marlyse Duguid of Sandy Hook. Marlyse was selected as one of 38 recipients of the organizationâs 2009-2010 college scholarships.

Francesca J. Piscitelli, a 2009 graduate of Lycoming College in Williamsport, Penn., was recently inducted into the Psi Chi Psychology honors society, which recognizes students who complete eight semester hours of psychology and achieve within the top 35 percent of their class rank. Francesca doubled majored in business administration and psychology while studying at the college.

Jacqueline plans to continue her education at Yale University where she is enrolled in the graduate entry pre-specialty in nursing program with a clinical specialty in psychiatric mental health nursing.
Amichai David Kilchevsky, son of Eitan and Laurie Kilchevsky, recently graduated with a doctor of medicine degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Amichai is now fulfilling a residency in the urology department at Yale University in New Haven.
