Four Teens Face Drug Charges
Police charged three girls and a boy late on the night on July 2 with various drug counts after the four teenage youths were discovered allegedly using drugs in a wooded area off Orchard Hill Road.
At about 11 pm, police spotted several vehicles parked on Orchard Hill Road. On investigating, police said they spotted several people in the woods near a campfire apparently smoking marijuana.
A search of the youths turned up marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said. Two of the four youths had counterfeit identification cards on them, resulting in forgery charges, police said.
Police said they charged Jonathan P. King 17, of 42 Orchard Hill Road with possession of narcotics, possession of a depressant, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, failure to keep narcotics in their original container, and simple trespassing.
Lindsay Rae Moore, 19, of 9 Clear View Drive was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree forgery, and simple trespassing, police said.
Police said they charged Jacquelyn Ann Davis, 19, of 42 Orchard Hill Road with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, third-degree forgery, and simple trespassing.
Lindsey L. Goodwick, 18, of 201 Hattertown Road was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple trespassing, police said.
After processing the four arrests at the police station, police released the four youths for July 17 appearances in Danbury Superior Court to answer the charges.
