Term Limits For Gov Proposed

HARTFORD (AP) — Oz Griebel, one of the three Republican candidates for Connecticut governor, says if he is elected he would only serve two terms.

Griebel on Monday unveiled his “Clean and Open Government Plan,” which he says highlights how his administration would govern the state.

Besides the self-imposed term limit, Griebel says he may call a constitutional convention to consider biennial legislative sessions. He says limiting the sessions would help focus legislators on getting their work done in a timely fashion.
