A True STAR To All
Robert Costa, 45, a very special son of Lee and Roy Costa of Shelton, previously of Norwalk, died June 29.
His parents; four siblings, including Joan Troy of Newtown; an aunt; and nine nieces and nephews survive Mr Costa.
He was employed by STAR Inc from 1984 to 2005, where he received the Jeannette Shiver Award for quiet intervention in the lives of friends in need, for having openly displayed the caring and tender heart of a teacher that those around him may be better equipped, more productive workers, and for the earnest affection so abundantly bestowed to all.
Mr Costa especially enjoyed his bowling league, swimming, and music. He was a longtime parishioner of St Philip Church.
The Costa family will receive friends in the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, Friday, July 2, from 9 to 10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk, at 10:30 am. Burial will be in St John Cemetery.
