Erin Elizabeth Hughes of Sandy Hook, Thomas J. Hine, Joseph John Rosenberg, and Natalie Rachel Williams graduated from Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., on May 15.

Nicole Berg, Sharmila Corson, Jennifer Kalbacher, Allison Kirk, and Elizabeth LaPerch were named to the fourth quarter honor roll at Lauralton Hall in Milford.

Sarah Luchansky, a 1994 graduate of Newtown High School and a 1998 graduate of Wesleyan University, received her PhD in chemistry from the University of California Berkeley in May 2004. She has accepted a postdoctoral position at Harvard.

Sarah is the daughter of Jeanne and Gene Luchansky of Sandy Hook. Sarah is married to Kian Tan, PhD. The couple recently moved to Cambridge, Mass.

Daisha Rose Manfredonia, daughter of Mr and Mrs William Manfredonia, received Dean’s List honors for the spring 2004 semester from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.

Elana Alexandria Bertram received her bachelor of arts degree from Mount Holyoke College during a commencement ceremony on May 23.

Alex Rachel Guiterman, daughter of Gigi Guiterman of Avon and Bob Guiterman of Bridgeport, was named to the spring 2004 Dean’s List of Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Alex is a 2003 graduate of Newtown High School.
