SCAN To Present

Summer Art Show & Sale

The Town of Newtown, the Office of First Selectman Pat Llodra, and The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) will jointly sponsor an art show at Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street on the Fairfield Hills Campus, July 5-29.

The SCAN Summer Art Show will open Tuesday, July 5, and will be on display through July 29, 2011.

The show will feature original works by the members of SCAN, including seasonal images in oils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, printmaking, and graphics. 

The public is cordially invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday, July 9, from 2 to 4 pm, at the municipal center.

Regular exhibition viewing hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
