Fire Company Sponsors Golf Tourney

The Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. Inc is sponsoring its 18th Annual Timothy and George Powell Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, July 18, at the Whitney Farms Golf Course in Monroe.

The cost is $100 per golfer, which includes breakfast at the station, 18 holes of golf with a cart, and a steak dinner immediately following the tournament. There will be trophies, raffles, and cash prizes for a few contests.

The volunteer fire company also is looking for hole sponsors. The cost is $50 a hole and are available for anyone who would like to advertise their business during the tournament.
