The Organic Farmersâ Market is back in the saddle for the summer. More vendors and artisans are expected for the July 3 market, open from 2 to 6 pm, behind St Johnâs Episcopal Church in Sandy Hook Center. Look for great grilling ideas for vegetables and killer BBQ sauces from Smoke ânâ Mirrors Farm, and delicious desserts to take on picnics from Mamieâs of Roxbury, as well as the popular kettle corn by Bee Kissed Farm.
Fresh-picked berries, greens, fresh herbs, eggs, bread, and wheat-free goodies will be available from a variety of vendors. Childrenâs activities and music for all add a carnival feel to the weekly event.
