Roll Out More Fun With
Duct Tape IV
Wednesday, July 11, from 1 to 2:30 pm, the C.H. Booth Library is holding the popular Duct Tape Projects workshop with Katie Stevenson.
Ms Stevenson is a teacher, illustrator, painter, sculptor and designer, and held her first Duct Tape Workshop here in Newtown in 2004. Since then, she has received requests to lead similar programs at many other libraries. She will be leading the group in several projects, including new ones this year to create trapezoidal bags, roses, wristbands, and iPod Nano/cell phoneholders. Participants can also get creative making frames, belts, sun visors, and accessories.
It is limited to 15 students, age 10 and up, with preference given to Newtown residents. There is a $6 supply fee, due at registration.
To sign up for the program, visit the main floor circulation desk at the C.H. Booth Library or call 426-4533.
