Rabbi Will Skate For The Cure
Rabbi Shaul Praver of Congregation Adath Israel in Newtown will be a featured guest at Skate For the Cure at the Rinks in Shelton on Saturday, June 30, at 7 pm.
Rabbi Praver will read salutations from United States Senator Joseph Lieberman to commence the figure skating fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Rabbi Praver, host of the cable television show Rabbi Rock TV, has hosted Skate For the Cure emcee Frank Simms of Darien for two recent segments on his program, which is shown locally on Charter Communications Channel 21.
Skate For the Cure features world class ice skaters in an elaborate Olympics-style show.
