Newtown Artist Wins KAA Award: The Gallery at the Kent Art Association in Kent is pleased to announce that Ruth Newquist of Newtown has won the KAA Award for Excellence for her watercolor entitled, “This Way.” This watercolor is on display as part of the 2007 Annual Summer Member Show at the Gallery, located on Route 7, just south of the monument. The show runs through July 15. The Gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
