Music Appreciation

At NCC

Directors and participants in the musical groups at the Newtown Congregational Church were acknowledged and thanked during the Sunday morning worship service on June 24.

Dan Coffman, choir director, and Phil Crevier, organist, were presented with gifts from the choir members: Dolores Allen, Paul Allen, Jan Bennett, Carol Benson, Judy Craven, Martha Eastwood, Illse Foster, Sharon Goodkowsky, Darlene Jackson, Charlotte Kalley, Maureen Kelly, Gene Marks, Keith Roberts, Skip Roberts, Joan Tynan, Lina Williams, and Deborra Zukowski.

Carole Andrews and Gale Whitford were presented flowers by the Bell Choir members: Marilyn Alexander, Jan Bennett, Lynn Buttner, Joyce Emslie, Brittany Emslie, Kate Fellows, Peg Forbell, Karen Gordon, Illes Foster, Darlene Jackson, Tina Mahoney, and Barbara Wyslick.

One week earlier, Cherub Choir Director Maureen Kelly was honored with flowers on Children’s Sunday by members Danny Bethke, Peter Coffman, Casey Dunn, Kayden Dunn, CJ Dunn, Andrew Janco, Matthew Janco, Melissa Janco, and Faith Walker.
