Garden Tour For Back To The Earth

Back To The Earth will sponsor a garden tour at the Newtown home of master gardener and author Sydney Eddison. Ms Eddison’s gardens have been featured in magazines and on television including Martha Stewart Living, Fine Gardening and The Victory Garden. The tour will take place on Sunday, July 15, from 2 to 6 pm.

Tickets are $12, and admission is free for children ages 5 and under. Proceeds will benefit the sponsoring group, Back to the Earth.

Tickets can be pre-purchased, but there will be no refund given. The garden tour will be held rain or shine.  Proceeds will be used for Back To The Earth community service programs whose mission is “Bringing together people to experience organic  gardening. We help you find land, offer resource and education so that everyone has a place where they can garden. We love to spread greenery and even garden in forgotten places.”

Back To The Earth offers Family Gardening (“Children lead better lives if their parents are involved”), Intergenerational Gardening (“Learning from the Elders”), Wild Gardening (“Honoring the land”) and Charity Gardening (“Sharing bounty”).
